Location: Albany, NY (Onsite – Monday to Friday, no escape)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AWS Solution Architect with a strong infrastructure background to support cloud operations, architecture review, and environment management. This role requires hands-on expertise in AWS services, system setup, monitoring, and architecture validation rather than pure development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support AWS infrastructure, including provisioning and configuration of cloud resources
• Launch, configure, and maintain EC2 instances and related services
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and respond to alerts
• Perform system setup, software installation, and environment configuration
• Review vendor-provided architecture and ensure alignment with organizational roadmap
• Identify security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks in existing systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and scalability
• Execute and modify SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and audit purposes
• Provide detailed inputs for SOPs and operational documentation

Required Skills:

• 9–12 years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in AWS
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, CloudWatch, VPC, etc.)
• Solid understanding of AWS operations and infrastructure management
• Experience in system monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of system architecture and integration concepts
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and issue analysis
• Understanding of system components, networking, and protocols

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards
• Familiarity with CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) processes
• Exposure to qualification/validation processes in regulated environments
