Summary
Salary Range: $175K/Yearly to $190K/Yearly; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Must Have - Additional skills: Microsoft Stack, cloud and Azure, Microsoft cloud processing, Experience leading projects with data engineering and ETL Processes, Experience working with an offshore team, AI Adoption and oversight of AI coding, as well as the JD. Must be tech-oriented, not grown up via business only.
Director of Product Development Job Responsibilities include:
- Lead the technical strategy, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of a large-scale enterprise platform.
- Translate business and product roadmaps into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team, including direct oversight of engineering leaders.
- Drive platform modernization, modularization, and architectural improvements to support future growth and scalability.
- Partner closely with product and business stakeholders to align engineering execution with organizational objectives.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability through effective engineering practices and governance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership, architecture, or technical management roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with software architecture, platform scalability, and leading end-to-end product development lifecycles.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and product strategies into technical roadmaps, engineering execution plans, and scalable solutions.
