Summary
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract
- Perform hands-on engineering and administration within enterprise Dynatrace environments.
- Lead and support consolidation of multiple Dynatrace tenants into a streamlined target-state architecture.
- Migrate configurations, dashboards, alerting policies, monitoring settings, and related components between Dynatrace environments.
- Evaluate and optimize monitoring coverage, data collection, and platform utilization.
- Perform log management reviews and implement logging cleanup initiatives to reduce unnecessary consumption and costs.
- Help define enterprise observability standards, platform governance, and monitoring strategies.
- Assess applications and infrastructure workloads to determine appropriate monitoring platforms and observability approaches.
- Support migration efforts from Dynatrace to LogicMonitor where operationally appropriate.
- Configure and onboard infrastructure, hosts, and services within LogicMonitor.
- Assist in development of chargeback and consumption reporting methodologies within Dynatrace.
- Collaborate with architects, customer teams, and operations stakeholders to align observability solutions with business objectives.
- Participate in maintenance windows, change activities, and occasional after-hours implementations when required.
- 7+ years of experience administering and engineering Dynatrace platforms in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with Dynatrace tenant management, configuration, administration, and optimization.
- Experience migrating Dynatrace configurations between tenants or environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM), infrastructure monitoring, distributed tracing, and observability practices.
- Experience with monitoring platform rationalization, consolidation, or modernization initiatives.
- Experience implementing and supporting LogicMonitor.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience developing enterprise observability strategies and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with chargeback or cost allocation methodologies for monitoring platforms.
- Experience reducing observability costs through monitoring optimization and logging management.
- Experience working alongside consulting architects and professional services teams.
- Exposure to Grafana and related observability solutions.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
