Business Systems Analyst

Description

We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and meet organizational goals. This role requires expertise in business analysis, documentation, and collaboration within Agile Scrum environments.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to outline project objectives and scope.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient business systems.
Facilitate Agile Scrum meetings to ensure alignment and progress throughout project cycles.
Conduct detailed analysis to identify gaps and propose actionable solutions.
Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams.
Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure alignment with initial requirements.
Provide guidance and support to teams in adapting to new systems and processes.
Maintain open communication with stakeholders to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance system performance.

Requirements

Proven experience in business analysis and systems integration.
Proficiency in creating and managing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and practices.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Solid analytical skills to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Familiarity with business systems and processes in a corporate environment.
Previous experience transitioning from a contract position to a permanent role is a plus.
