Contract Opportunity: Technical Project Manager | NYC/NJ

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join an Agile team supporting MLB’s App + Web experiences.

📍 Location: NYC/NJ
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid — 3 days/week

What You’ll Do

Drive delivery and execution of cross-functional software projects
Coach 1–2 Agile teams on sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
Partner with Product Owners, Engineering, Design, and stakeholders to turn requirements into actionable work
Manage roadmaps, dependencies, risks, issues, and project communications
Support App + Web event readiness and contingency planning
Identify process improvements that increase team effectiveness and predictability
Bring structure to ambiguous situations and help teams make informed decisions

What We’re Looking For

3+ years coordinating mid-to-large software development initiatives across multiple Agile teams
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Hands-on experience working with Engineering and Product teams in an Agile environment
Strong ownership, attention to detail, and a continuous-improvement mindset
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, and/or Outlook
Preferred: Experience working on mobile applications (iOS/Android) and web applications

Nice to Have

CSM, PMP, or similar certification
Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code
