Required Skills - Now Assist Skill Kit: Proven ability to build and deploy Custom GenAI Skills. You must be able to define inputs, craft sophisticated prompts, and map outputs to platform objects.

Agentic AI Systems: Experience designing "Agentic" workflows-where AI agents don't just answer questions but execute multi-step tasks independently across the platform.

Vector Database & RAG: Familiarity with RaptorDB and configuring Vector Providers to enable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for localized, accurate AI responses.

Job Duties - The developer is hands-on and owns all configuration, testing, and deployment work across the full project lifecycle.

Environment Setup & Configuration

- NowAssist plugin activation and baseline configuration in dev/test/prod instances

- AI Search configuration and index tuning for ITSM data sources

- Now Assist panel setup in Agent Workspace and ITSM workspace

- Role and access control configuration for NowAssist features

Per Use Case Deliverables (repeated for each of the 6 use cases)

- Use case configuration build in dev instance per architect design specs

- Prompt tuning and skill configuration documentation

- Functional test results and defect log

- UAT support including scenario execution and feedback remediation

- Prod deployment package and release notes

- Post-go-live hypercare monitoring report (2-week window per use case)

Testing & Quality

- Master test plan covering all 6 use cases

- Regression test scripts to validate each rollout doesn't break prior use cases

- AI output quality log tracking accuracy, relevance, and user feedback scores

- Performance test results for AI response time under agent load

Reporting & Documentation

- Configuration runbook per use case (supports knowledge transfer to internal team)

- Admin guide for ongoing NowAssist management post-project

- Adoption and usage dashboard in ServiceNow (leveraging PA or reporting module)

- Final technical handoff package including all configs, docs, and known limitations

The GenAI Stack

Now Assist Skill Kit: Proven ability to build and deploy Custom GenAI Skills. You must be able to define inputs, craft sophisticated prompts, and map outputs to platform objects.

Pro-Code Mastery

ServiceNow IDE: Deep proficiency in the latest VS Code-based ServiceNow IDE for managing source control and complex JavaScript development.

Advanced Scripting: Mastery of server-side (Script Includes, Business Rules) and client-side scripting, specifically the ability to audit and refactor AI-generated code for performance and security.

IntegrationHub & Spoke Generator: Expert-level skill in creating custom spokes and using the Spoke Generator to connect third-party LLMs (OpenAI, Azure, Gemini) to ServiceNow.

Strategic & Architectural Skills

AI Governance & Guardrails: Ability to implement content filtering and toxicity checks to ensure AI outputs comply with corporate and legal standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Model Management: Experience evaluating when to use the native ServiceNow LLM versus external "Bring Your Own LLM" (BYOLLM) solutions for specific use cases.

Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize AI latency and "token-efficient" prompting to reduce operational costs and improve user experience.

Experience: 3+ years of ServiceNow Development + at least 1-2 years of hands-on Generative AI implementation.

Core Certifications:

CAD (Certified Application Developer)

CAS (Certified Implementation Specialist) in at least two modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, or CSM).
