Summary
Title : Data Scientist
Duration: 3 years plus extension
Start: ASAP
Location: Remote – must be located in PST, MST, or CST
Work Authorization Status : ( , OPT-EAD, USC)
Must Haves (no exceptions)
- 7+ years of experience in data science, statistical analysis, machine learning, A/B testing, or mathematical modeling
- Master''s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Social Sciences, or related quantitative field (additional 2 years’ experience may substitute for education)
- Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries
- Experience with Databricks and Lakehouse / Medallion Architecture
- Dashboard development using Tableau and/or Power BI
- Experience with AWS cloud-based data environments
- Experience building and monitoring data pipelines, ETL processes, and data ingestion frameworks
- Strong data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance experience
- Experience analyzing large, complex datasets and translating findings into business insights
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, PySpark, SAS, or similar programming languages
- Strong understanding of data modeling, including Star Schema and Entity-Relationship Modeling
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to lead meetings with executive stakeholders
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical initiatives
Preferred:
- Machine learning and predictive analytics experience
- A/B testing experience
- Healthcare or patient data experience
- GIS mapping and database experience
- DevOps exposure
- Experience with RDS or other relational database systems
