Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Concur Functional Consultant to lead the end-to-end assessment, design, configuration, testing, and rollout of SAP Concur solutions.

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary functional authority across SAP Concur Travel, Expense, Request, Expense Pay, and Corporate Card integrations. This role will work closely with Finance, HR, IT, integration, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, optimize Travel & Expense processes, and deliver scalable Concur solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder discovery workshops and conduct detailed requirements-gathering sessions.

• Assess current As-Is Travel & Expense (T&E) processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Perform comprehensive Fit-Gap Analysis between business requirements and SAP Concur capabilities.

• Map business requirements to SAP Concur Travel, Expense, Request, Expense Pay, and Corporate Card solutions.

• Configure SAP Concur according to approved business requirements and solution designs.

• Support functional testing, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Manage defect identification, analysis, resolution, and retesting.

• Support deployment planning, cutover activities, and production rollout.

• Identify License/BOM requirements, including modules, users, card feeds, and optional features.

• Define integration requirements with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, cost objects, corporate card feeds, payment systems, and middleware.

• Prepare and maintain scope definitions, effort estimates, fit-gap documentation, functional requirements, and implementation timelines.

• Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, integration, security, and business teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Provide functional leadership and guidance on SAP Concur best practices, compliance, audit, and internal controls.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of SAP Concur Functional Consulting experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Concur Travel

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Concur Expense

• Experience with SAP Concur Request

• Experience with SAP Concur Expense Pay

• Expertise in Corporate Card integrations and card feeds

• Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis skills

• Proven experience conducting Fit-Gap Analysis

• Hands-on SAP Concur configuration experience

• Experience supporting Functional Testing and UAT

• Strong understanding of Finance and Travel & Expense (T&E) processes

• Knowledge of compliance, audit, and financial controls

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Excellent workshop facilitation and presentation skills

• Ability to create fit-gap documents, scope definitions, estimates, and implementation plans

Preferred Experience

• Experience with large-scale SAP Concur implementations or rollouts.

• Experience integrating Concur with SAP ERP/S/4HANA environments.

• Understanding of HR master data and SAP SuccessFactors integrations.

• Experience with middleware and enterprise integration architecture.

• Strong knowledge of corporate travel, expense reimbursement, payment, and audit processes.
