Summary

Job Title: Workday HCM Consultant – Journeys & Onboarding (Functional)

Location: Remote

Job Description:

Configure and manage Workday Journeys and Onboarding framework, including creation of step-by-step employee lifecycle experiences.
Design and configure onboarding checklists, to-do tasks, notifications, condition rules, and document acknowledgements.
Configure and optimize Workday Business Process Framework (Hire, Change Job, Termination, etc.).
Gather business requirements from HR, Talent Acquisition, and business stakeholders and translate them into functional solutions.
Lead client workshops, solution design discussions, and provide best practice recommendations.
Perform end-to-end testing, regression testing, and support UAT cycles.
Manage security roles and access related to onboarding and journeys processes.
Support data loads and updates using EIB where required.
Collaborate with integration teams for downstream or upstream system dependencies.
Provide post-go-live support, enhancements, and continuous improvements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in an onsite, client-facing environment.

Qualifications:

8+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM.
Strong experience in Workday Journeys and Onboarding configuration.
At least 1–2 end-to-end Workday implementation experience.
Strong understanding of Workday Business Process Framework.
Experience in client-facing or onsite engagements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to have exposure to EIB, basic integrations, and security configuration.
