Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with 13+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data engineering, cloud technologies, ETL/ELT, databases, and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and data processing solutions.
Work with large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
Develop efficient data integration and transformation processes.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and business teams.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, security, and reliability.
Optimize data pipelines and database performance.
Troubleshoot data processing and integration issues.
Implement data engineering best practices and maintain technical documentation.
Participate in architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
Support cloud-based data migration and modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

13+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
Strong programming experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
Strong SQL and database development experience.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration.
Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or similar big data technologies.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Experience with data warehousing and data modeling.
Knowledge of Airflow, Databricks, or other workflow orchestration tools.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, Snowflake, or Data Engineering are a plus.
