Dynatrace Infrastructure EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Systems and Automation Engineer to join our Enterprise Observability team. In this role, you will focus on deploying and maintaining Dynatrace infrastructure components-including cluster nodes, active gates, and agents-across supported on-premises, cloud, and colocation environments. You will collaborate within a focused Agile squad of 3 to 5 members as part of a larger 20+ person team, utilizing infrastructure-as-code and modern CI/CD pipelines to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy, configure, and maintain Dynatrace infrastructure components (cluster nodes, active gates, and agents) across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling such as Ansible Tower
- Perform systems and platform administration, including incident management, remediation, patching, and component upgrades
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform performance-related issues
- Participate in solution design, technical planning, and daily Agile ceremonies utilizing Jira
Qualifications & Requirements- Hands-on professional experience with core AWS services (IAM, EC2, KMS, ECS, EKS, Systems Manager, Route 53, Lambda, and State Machines)
- Strong experience working with the Ansible Tower / Automation Platform for workflow and configuration automation
- Deep Linux administration expertise, covering networking, system services, permission management, and log analysis
- Proficiency in Git, GitLab, and CI/CD source control and pipeline management
- Competency in shell programming and scripting using Bash and/or PowerShell
- Preferred qualifications include Terraform (HCL) experience, certificate management (TLS/ACM), containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and additional programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js, Go)
- Strong problem-solving abilities, high adaptability to change, integrity, and excellent communication and collaboration skills
