NeevSys is seeking a Microsoft Biz Apps Developer Power Apps and MS Dynamics Architect to support a Guidehouse opportunity focused on enterprise case management and Microsoft Business Applications delivery. The selected candidate will serve as a hands-on technical architect and senior developer responsible for designing, configuring, developing, integrating, and supporting Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.

This role requires deep technical expertise across Microsoft Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 services, custom connectors, integrations, and related Azure services. The candidate will work closely with client stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and support teams to translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performing Microsoft Business Applications solutions.

The ideal candidate will be both an architect and a hands-on developer who can define solution architecture, establish development standards, lead design discussions, mentor developers, participate in Agile delivery, support production issue resolution, and present tailored solution demonstrations to business and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution architecture and design Lead the architecture and design of Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions, including model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Pages, Dataverse data models, custom connectors, security roles, workflows, plugins, integrations, and reporting components.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 delivery Design, configure, customize, and extend Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement / Dynamics CRM modules, including Customer Engagement, Sales, Marketing, Field Service, Project Service Automation, and case management capabilities.
  • Power Platform development Develop and implement Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI dashboards, Dataverse solutions, SharePoint-integrated applications, and low-code/no-code business automation capabilities.
  • Case management solution support Support the design and delivery of enterprise case management solutions by translating business requirements into technical architecture, system design, configuration specifications, and deployable application components.
  • Technical requirements analysis Gather and analyze technical requirements, evaluate client architecture and business needs, identify technical risks, and propose scalable solution options that align with project objectives.
  • Full lifecycle implementation Support all phases of Microsoft Business Applications delivery, including discovery, definition, design, build, configuration, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous enhancement.
  • Integration development Design and develop integrations between Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint, third-party applications, APIs, custom connectors, and enterprise data sources.
  • Custom development Develop Dynamics 365 and Power Platform customizations using C#, .NET, SQL, CRM SDK, CRM plugins, JavaScript where applicable, custom workflow activities, and integration services.
  • Data modeling and Dataverse design Design complex common data models, Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, security models, and performance-optimized data structures.
  • Governance and standards Define and refine Power Platform implementation standards, coding practices, architecture patterns, reusable components, solution layering practices, environment strategies, and Power Platform Center of Excellence governance approaches.
  • Technical leadership Provide technical direction, mentorship, architecture reviews, code reviews, performance optimization guidance, and delivery oversight for developers and Power Platform specialists.
  • Agile delivery participation Participate in daily scrum meetings, backlog refinement, sprint planning, technical design sessions, demos, sprint reviews, defect triage, and release readiness activities.
  • Testing and quality assurance Support development of technical requirements, test scripts, validation procedures, defect resolution, code quality reviews, and deployment readiness checks to deliver high-quality, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Production support Work with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including batch job monitoring, integration monitoring, workflow failures, data issues, performance concerns, and user-reported defects.
  • Documentation and knowledge transfer Create and maintain solution architecture documents, technical design documents, configuration guides, deployment notes, user guides, training materials, and knowledge transfer documentation.
  • Client and executive communication Present tailored demonstrations, technical solution options, architecture recommendations, status updates, and delivery risks to client stakeholders, project teams, C-level management, public groups, or executive audiences as needed.
  • Continuous improvement Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft release wave updates; evaluate new platform capabilities and recommend practical adoption opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor s degree or U.S. equivalent degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 CRM, or related Microsoft Business Applications development and architecture.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Secret security clearance before onboarding, as required.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in the McLean/Tysons, VA / Washington, DC area as required by the client.
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience with both model-driven apps and canvas apps.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement / Dynamics CRM technical solutions.
  • Experience with one or more Dynamics 365 / Dynamics CRM modules, including Customer Engagement, Sales, Marketing, Field Service, Project Service Automation, or case management.
  • Experience developing and deploying business applications using Microsoft Dynamics Power Platform.
  • Experience with full lifecycle Dynamics 365 or Power Platform implementation.
  • Experience designing complex common data models and working with relational database concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse / Common Data Service, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and related Microsoft cloud services.
  • Experience using out-of-the-box connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience designing integrations across Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, APIs, third-party systems, and enterprise data sources.
  • Technical experience with C#, SQL, .NET, Dynamics 365, CRM SDK, CRM plugins, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Experience with Software as a Service and/or Platform as a Service environments.
  • Experience writing technical requirements, test scripts, design documents, and implementation documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform Center of Excellence and governance components.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and ability to manage multiple technical priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active and maintained Secret or higher-level Federal or DoD clearance.
  • Experience supporting public sector, federal civilian, defense, or regulated government clients.
  • Experience in a Big 4, major systems integrator, Microsoft Gold Partner, or equivalent consulting environment.
  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or related Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid-Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Pages, Microsoft Portals, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Online, and SharePoint 2013 or newer.
  • Experience across the Microsoft BI stack, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
  • Experience with Scribe or similar data integration/migration tools.
  • Experience with ERP implementation principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Experience leading architecture reviews, code reviews, technical design sessions, and developer mentorship activities.

The ideal candidate is a senior Microsoft Business Applications architect and developer who can operate across both strategic architecture and hands-on technical delivery. The candidate should be able to lead client-facing design discussions, translate business requirements into technical architecture, configure and customize Dynamics 365 and Power Platform components, guide development teams, resolve complex technical issues, and ensure the delivered solution is secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

The candidate should also be comfortable supporting federal or regulated clients where solution quality, documentation, security, stakeholder communication, and delivery discipline are critical to successful implementation.
