The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-caliber technical expert to champion regulatory compliance and electrical design integrity for a premier line of industrial machinery. In this critical role, you will serve as the definitive internal authority for global electrical standards, safeguarding product excellence while steering the continuous improvement of sophisticated motor and control systems. This is a rare chance to blend hands-on engineering ingenuity with high-stakes compliance leadership, ensuring that cutting-edge industrial equipment meets the rigorous demands of global markets.

If you are a detail-oriented professional eager to possess true ownership of regulatory strategy and technical execution, this direct-hire, onsite position in the Greater Buffalo area offers an impactful trajectory for your career.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion international electrical compliance frameworks (including UL, CE, ATEX, and IECEx) across all rotating and vibrating machinery product portfolios.

  • Authorize official certificates of conformance and meticulously manage regulatory dossiers, schematics, and files to guarantee continuous audit readiness.

  • Architect innovative electrical system designs and control panel configurations tailored for heavy industrial applications, driving both next-generation product development and legacy enhancements.

  • Synthesize engineering efforts by partnering closely with mechanical design teams to achieve flawless electromechanical integration.

  • Resolve complex, real-world field anomalies by delivering top-tier technical troubleshooting support to global field service and internal manufacturing teams.

  • Maximize supply chain resilience by identifying alternative components for obsolete parts and collaborating with suppliers to maintain streamlined inventory levels.

  • Formulate precise cost estimates and financial analyses to empower commercial engineering teams during competitive bidding and pricing phases.

What You Bring

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET).

  • Regulatory Focus: A dedicated career interest in specialized compliance, safety standards, and certification management over pure product design.

  • Compliance Acumen: Proficient capabilities in deciphering, applying, and executing UL, CE, and ATEX directives for complex machinery.

  • Technical Design Skills: Practical experience utilizing AutoCAD or equivalent engineering software to generate, modify, and interpret detailed electrical schematics.

  • Hands-on Expertise: Deep familiarity with industrial control systems, circuit design, control panel architectures, and the exact sourcing specifications of electrical components.

  • Execution Excellence: Exceptional organizational prowess with a proven track record of managing meticulous documentation pipelines under tight project deadlines.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Core Compensation: Competitive annual base salary ranging from $79,000 to $108,000, commensurate with experience and technical depth.

  • Performance & Equity Incentives: Eligibility for annual performance-based bonuses tied to milestones and organizational achievements.

  • Health & Wellness Perks: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance packages, alongside robust mental health support programs.

  • Future Planning: Premium retirement benefits including a company-matched 401(k) plan, comprehensive life insurance coverage, and professional development or tuition assistance.

  • Work-Life Balance: Generous paid time off (PTO) allotment, paid holidays, and dedicated parental leave packages to support your life outside of work.
