Job DetailsThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development, and technical execution of electrical power and control systems. This role involves working on projects of varying complexity, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical guidance as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, including wire harnesses, enclosures, schematics, and wiring diagrams using CAD tools.
- Select and specify electrical components such as connectors, relays, circuit protection devices, and wiring materials.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including schematics, bills of material, and design files.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure designs are feasible and properly integrated.
- Provide technical support including troubleshooting, testing, prototyping, and system validation.
- Support continuous improvement, safety initiatives, and quality processes.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical system design; experience with wire harness or panel design preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical and electronic control systems.
- Strong analytical, technical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Zuken, or similar).
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
