SCOPE

Lead incident response coordination, cyber event investigation support, and vulnerability management processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Hands-on experience in incident handling and cyber operations environments.
Knowledge of vulnerability management processes and tools.
Experience coordinating with security operations centers and federal response teams.
Ability to translate technical incidents into executive-level reports.
Experience in cyber incident handling and response operations
Experience in security Operations Centers (SOC) or cyber operations centers
Experience in forensic coordination and malware response
Experience in vulnerability management and breach response

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Security+

TASKS

Manage cyber incident response lifecycle including detection, analysis, containment, and reporting.
Coordinate with SOC/CSIRT teams during cybersecurity incidents.
Conduct incident triage and escalation management.
Support forensic investigations and malware analysis coordination.
Produce incident reports, root cause analysis, and lessons learned documentation.
Support vulnerability remediation activities and reporting.
Communicate incident status to stakeholders and federal leadership.
