SCOPE

Lead incident response coordination, cyber event investigation support, and vulnerability management processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Hands-on experience in incident handling and cyber operations environments.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management processes and tools.
  • Experience coordinating with security operations centers and federal response teams.
  • Ability to translate technical incidents into executive-level reports.
  • Experience in cyber incident handling and response operations
  • Experience in security Operations Centers (SOC) or cyber operations centers
  • Experience in forensic coordination and malware response
  • Experience in vulnerability management and breach response

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Security+

TASKS

  • Manage cyber incident response lifecycle including detection, analysis, containment, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with SOC/CSIRT teams during cybersecurity incidents.
  • Conduct incident triage and escalation management.
  • Support forensic investigations and malware analysis coordination.
  • Produce incident reports, root cause analysis, and lessons learned documentation.
  • Support vulnerability remediation activities and reporting.
  • Communicate incident status to stakeholders and federal leadership.
