Position Title: Senior ADABAS Administrator
Location: Jackson, MS (Remote)
Interview Process: Only webcam

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Database Administrator with strong expertise in ADABAS and Software AG technologies to join a collaborative team supporting critical state systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain ADABAS and related Software AG products
Analyze requirements, design solutions, and perform system testing and QA
Support legacy and modern systems including Natural, COBOL/CICS, and Linux/zLinux environments
Contribute to system architecture and maintain technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience with ADABAS, Natural, and Software AG tools
Strong background in MVS/JCL, COBOL/CICS, VSAM, UNIX/Linux
Experience with system design, implementation, and quality assurance
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, or ITSM tools
Background in legacy system modernization
Knowledge of SNAP/TANF or child welfare systems
