Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated FacilitiesTechnicianto join their team. As a FacilitiesTechnician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Support Department, contributing to the seamless operation of multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Andover, MA
Pay Range: $40/hr
What?s the Job?
- Monitor operation of refrigeration, HVAC, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and related equipment
- Respond immediately to system alarms, troubleshoot issues and take appropriate corrective action
- Log complaints, status updates, and follow-up actions in CMMS database
- Analyze system operations to determine causes of problems, make adjustments to mechanical systems and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation
- Perform preventive maintenance on building and critical system equipment
What?s Needed?
- Maintain continuous operation of all HVAC-related building systems, including mechanical controls, building automation systems (BAS), electrical components, and temperature control systems.
- Execute preventive, corrective, and reliability maintenance procedures with Teammates and Vendor Partners.
- Conduct building rounds, maintain detailed logs and data sheets, ensuring all regulatory compliance and safety requirements are met.
- Enter detailed and explanatory comments into work order database, so actions can be documented and referenced.
- Provide customer interface and support, assisting with planning and scheduling optimization, and ensuring high-quality document management.
