Role Summary
The Programmer will assist with system enhancements to OMIG''s applications, transitioning them from legacy fee-for-service models to fully support Managed Care data and business processes. This work aims to improve reporting capabilities, increase data availability for recoveries, and enhance overall operational efficacy.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Attend meetings with program areas responsible for applications impacted by Managed Care.
- Application Development: Design and program enhancements using web forms and Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural patterns.
- UI/UX Design: Create user-friendly interfaces with complex data structures and form layouts.
- Environment & Tools: Design and program within a .NET environment using Azure DevOps / Team Foundation Server for source control.

Mandatory Qualification
- 84+ Months Experience: Candidate must be able to provide guidance to large teams, have extensive industry experience, and create computer software across various domains.
Scored Requested Qualifications
- 84+ Months: Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA/OOD/OOP), including SOA, N-tier architecture, and MVC design patterns.
- 84+ Months: Written and verbal communication, analyzing business requirements, preparing technical documentation, and system design specifications.
- 84+ Months: Developing, maintaining, and supporting console and web applications using C# and .NET technologies, ComponentOne controls, reusable APIs, and libraries.
- 84+ Months: Performing systems analysis and design (creation of ERDs, DFDs, State Transition Diagrams, and technical specifications).
- 60+ Months: Developing applications in .NET Core and .NET (8 through 10) using Visual Studio 2022+, with source control in Azure DevOps and Git.
- 60+ Months: SQL experience in Oracle and/or MS SQL Server (database design, ERDs, stored procedures, indexes, triggers, UDFs, views).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Tech Stack: C#, .NET Core / .NET (8-10), MVC, Web Forms, Oracle, MS SQL Server, ComponentOne, Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio 2022+.
