Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Project Management Specialists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Coordinate technology delivery activities across infrastructure provisioning and automation workstreams, maintaining visibility into priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and in-flight activities.
  2. Facilitate working sessions, project checkpoints, planning activities, and leadership touchpoints while preparing agendas, pre-reads, decision logs, status updates, and follow-up actions.
  3. Map current-state and future-state processes for compute, storage, and networking provisioning, identifying handoff gaps, bottlenecks, exceptions, rework, and opportunities to improve cycle time and delivery reliability.
  4. Develop and maintain process documentation, intake requirements, handoff checklists, exception logs, runbooks, and other source-of-truth artifacts that improve consistency, traceability, accountability, and knowledge management.

Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

6–9 years of experience in technical project management, technology delivery, process improvement, IT strategy, or related areas, including experience supporting complex infrastructure and application environments.

Technical Skills

Technical project management, IT strategy and planning, enterprise architecture, infrastructure provisioning, application integration, process improvement, process mapping, integrated automation, risk and dependency management, stakeholder management.

Business / Domain Skills

  1. Experience managing complex government technology initiatives across requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and operational transition while coordinating state agencies, business teams, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  2. Experience supporting technology delivery and infrastructure provisioning initiatives, including compute, storage, networking, application integration, operational handoffs, dependencies, milestones, and delivery lifecycle activities.
  3. Experience driving process improvement across complex technology delivery environments, including current-state assessment, future-state workflow design, handoff optimization, exception management, cycle-time reduction, and repeatable execution practices.
  4. Experience coordinating cross-functional technology stakeholders and PMO activities, including project planning, risk and dependency tracking, leadership communications, decision logs, status reporting, documentation, and delivery governance.

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

  1. Experience managing technical projects and process improvement initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
  2. Experience with IT strategy, enterprise architecture, infrastructure delivery, and application integration.
  3. Strong facilitation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Experience identifying process inefficiencies, reducing manual effort, and improving operational transparency.
