Summary

A growing enterprise technology organization is hiring a Software Architect to join a newly established innovation hub in Frisco, TX. This is a full-time position focused on modern application architecture using C#, .NET, Angular, and Microsoft Azure.
This role is part of a high-visibility initiative to redesign and modernize large-scale government systems used daily across an entire state. The team is building a next-generation platform that consolidates dozens of applications into a unified experience, with plans to expand nationally. This is an opportunity to join at the ground level of a new engineering center and help define best practices, architecture patterns, and long-term technical direction. Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with C# / .NET development
Experience building or supporting microservices-based systems
Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure (including Azure Functions)
Frontend experience with Angular or React
Strong understanding of system design and scalability principles

Desired Skills & Experience

Prior work with DMV systems, ADOT, AAMVA, or similar organizations
Experience modernizing legacy applications
Exposure to large enterprise or government environments
Leadership or mentorship experience

What You Will Be Doing

Collaborating with engineering teams to define development standards
Supporting cloud transformation and modernization initiatives
Evaluating and implementing microservices strategies

Daily Responsibilities

50% Hands-on architecture and design work
