Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Center Engineer to support the installation, replacement, and deployment of Cisco switches and firewalls at client locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit the client site and assess installation requirements.
  • Plan and prepare for hardware installation.
  • Mount and install Cisco switches and firewalls.
  • Configure hardware in coordination with the FSL (Field Service Lead) team.
  • Perform failover testing to verify network redundancy and functionality.
  • Remove old or existing hardware as part of the replacement process.
  • Verify connectivity and ensure all installation tasks are completed successfully.

 

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Cisco switches and firewalls.
  • Experience with network hardware installation, mounting, and cabling.
  • Basic understanding of hardware configuration and connectivity testing.
  • Knowledge of failover testing and network redundancy.
  • Ability to work onsite and coordinate with the FSL team.
