  • Highly organized, able to manage traceability, verification activities, and documentation with precision.
  • As an experienced systems engineer, you'll act as the bridge to MBSE.
  • You'll build system architecture models in Cameo Enterprise Architecture, build state machines, use case diagrams, and Block Definition Diagrams (BDDs) to capture system structure, behavior, and requirements traceability.
  • You'll be using DOORS Classic, Cameo and other systems engineering tools.

Responsibilities:

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
  • Apply V-lifecycle development processes to military and commercial systems.
  • Develop operational concepts, use cases, and system objectives for USAF programs.
  • Create verifiable system and subsystem-level requirements and conduct traceability audits.
  • Develop verification plans and support customer acceptance.
  • Translate requirements into logical, physical, and digital architectures.
  • Build SysML models to support the system design.
  • Lead technical interchange meetings and interface working groups.
  • Produce functional flow diagrams, interface control documents, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Conduct RDT&E, operation, and maintenance of electrical devices/databases/systems.
  • Utilizing MATLAB for data analysis, confirming system requirements are met during testing

Qualifications Required:
  • Minimum 6+ years of systems engineering experience.
  • Knowledgeable with developing and managing system and subsystem requirements.
  • Experience using requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 tools.
  • Understanding of MBSE modeling concepts (preferred but not required).
  • Understanding of MagicDraw Cameo (preferred but not required).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Education:
