Summary

Job Title: Sr. Informatica MDM Consultant
Location: Austin, TX, (Hybrid)- 3 days Onsite and 2 days Remote – Mondays and Wednesdays Remote and Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays Onsite
Position Type: Contract
Interview Mode: MS Teams

Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze business objectives, processes, and user requirements to identify effective technology solutions.
  • Evaluate business problems, perform cost-benefit analysis, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand current workflows, identify process improvements, and document requirements.
  • Prepare detailed functional and business requirements for new system enhancements and modifications.
  • Assess existing system capabilities and determine the feasibility of requested changes within current environments.
  • Support the analysis, documentation, and implementation of system improvements.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives.
  • Assist with Data Engineering and Data Governance initiatives in support of the SHARP program.

Experience establishing Master Data and Reference data for large organizations. Experience with Informatica MDM is preferred.

Experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ.

Experience working with enterprise scale data sets in Snowflake.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field. Equivalent work experience can be substituted. Masters degree or 6+ years experience preferred.

Experience with Python scripts for automation and interaction with APIs.
