CA Gen Modernization Lead

Location: Remote Contract: 12+ Months

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing or supporting applications built with CA Gen, Broadcom Gen, or COOL.
• In-depth understanding of CA Gen models, runtime architecture, internal components, and code-generation behavior.
• At least 5 years of COBOL development experience.
• Strong capability in reading, interpreting, and analyzing COBOL generated by CA Gen.
• Previous involvement in mainframe modernization, legacy application migration, or replacement initiatives.
• Ability to reconstruct application logic from existing models and source code and convert findings into precise technical specifications.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate complex legacy systems with limited or incomplete documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with architects, developers, and other technical stakeholder

Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
