Job Description:

We are looking for a Cloud Platform / Systems Engineer with strong experience in Linux systems engineering, public cloud technologies, Ansible, and Python.

The candidate will support enterprise cloud platform services responsible for building, maintaining, securing, and distributing compliant Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) across AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance existing cloud platform engineering solutions.
• Support automated workflows for building and distributing compliant AMIs.
• Work with Linux systems and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and Python.
• Troubleshoot operating system and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Support image security, encryption, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing engineering processes.
• Independently research and resolve technical challenges.

Required Skills:

• Strong Linux systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting.
• Strong knowledge of at least one public cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and operating system fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Exposure to Windows and macOS.
• Amazon Machine Images (AMIs).
• Cloud security and compliance.

Ideal Candidate: Linux Systems Engineers with Ansible and AWS experience who have transitioned into cloud engineering. Deep expertise across all three operating systems is not required.

Interview Process:

• Round 1: Technical screening via Zoom.
• Round 2: Technical panel via Zoom (in-person may also be available).
• Scenario-based questions covering AWS, Linux, automation, and troubleshooting.
