Location: Cincinnati, OH
Job Type: Full-time
Travel: Regional, up to 25%
Pay: $80,000 to $100,000 per year

Stay close to the machines while leading an applications engineering team, solving tough machining challenges and getting new CNC equipment into production for customers.

Must-Haves

  • Strong hands-on experience with CNC machining centers, lathes, and other advanced platforms
  • Experience in CNC Applications Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or CNC Programming
  • Strong knowledge of G-code, tooling, workholding, feeds and speeds, and process optimization
  • Experience with at least one major CNC control, such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, OSP, or Haas
  • Working knowledge of multi-axis machining
  • Experience developing processes from print through production
  • Experience mentoring or training engineers, programmers, or machinists
  • High-precision and complex part machining experience
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 25%

What You\'ll Do

  • Serve as the technical lead and senior resource for the CNC applications engineering team
  • Mentor Applications Engineers on programming, troubleshooting, and best practices
  • Coordinate team priorities, customer projects, installations, demos, and training
  • Lead complex applications projects and act as the escalation point
  • Develop and optimize CNC machining processes, tooling, workholding, and cycle times
  • Support machine installations, prove-outs, and runoffs
  • Evaluate customer parts, prints, and tolerances to build effective machining solutions
  • Support Sales with test cuts, demos, and benchmarking
  • Deliver customer training on machine operation and programming
  • Build applications standards, documentation, and workflows

Nice-to-Haves

  • 5-axis, Swiss, or mill-turn experience
  • Fanuc control experience
  • CAM software and offline programming
  • Automation and peripheral equipment knowledge

Compensation and Benefits

  • $80,000 to $100,000 per year
