Job Title: Field Support Engineer/ Network Engineer
Location: Washington, DC 20001 (Day1 Onsite)
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge with desktop (review system logs / error messages, specific OS and app troubleshooting/fix etc.); network communication troubleshooting (IP. VPN, DNS etc.); printer troubleshooting (verifying firmware, driver etc.). Having one of the following certifications would help.
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
The resource must be able to do the following:
- Intake & Triage
- Categorize the Issue
- Fix the easy stuff fast and Note how it was resolved.
- Structured Troubleshooting
- Resolution or Escalation
- User and DT team Communication and Follow-Up
- Documentation & Closure.
The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000* per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
