Job Title: Package Consultant – SAP IS Oil & Gas

Location: Houston, TX (Remote possible; preference for candidates willing to travel)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP IS Oil & Gas Package Consultant with strong expertise in PRA and JVA modules to support discovery and strategic roadmap initiatives for bpx. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, helping guide the RAPID Discovery process, evaluating current systems, and defining future-state architecture and roadmap strategies. This role requires deep knowledge of SAP solutions within the Oil & Gas industry and experience working with S/4HANA and RISE transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP IS Oil & Gas, specifically within PRA (Production and Revenue Accounting) and JVA (Joint Venture Accounting).
• Lead and facilitate RAPID Discovery sessions to assess current business processes, system landscape, and future transformation opportunities.
• Support the development of a strategic roadmap aligned with business objectives and SAP best practices.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical architects to define solution architecture and implementation strategies.
• Provide guidance on SAP S/4HANA transformation and RISE with SAP initiatives.
• Analyze existing Oil & Gas processes and recommend improvements aligned with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across finance, production accounting, and joint venture operations.
• Document requirements, solution approaches, and roadmap recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with SAP IS Oil & Gas modules, particularly PRA (Production and Revenue Accounting) and JVA (Joint Venture Accounting).
• Prior experience working in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
• Familiarity with RISE with SAP transformation programs.
• Experience facilitating discovery workshops and defining transformation roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Educational Qualifications:

• Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
• Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:
