Project Overview
Client is undergoing a large-scale Active Directory consolidation.
The initiative includes defining the future-state AD architecture, identifying gaps, recommending improvements, and beginning phased implementation.
PKI impact assessment and capability mapping are required.
Responsibilities
• Lead Active Directory environment assessment
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and gather technical/operational inventory.
• Map current-state AD and define target-state AD architecture.
• Identify dependencies, conflicts, PKI touchpoints, and future capability needs.
• Provide a consolidated AD design, including:
o Naming standards
o OU design
o Group policy model
o Security baseline alignment
o Agency-level vs. state-level structures
• Produce detailed recommendations and an implementation roadmap.
• Support the team during initial discovery/design phase and migration phase in future.
• Collaborate IAM initiatives and integrate with IDM strategy.
Required Skills
• 8–12+ years in enterprise Active Directory architecture.
• Hands-on experience with large public sector/state government consolidations preferred.
• Strong gap analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
• Understanding of PKI concepts (not engineering).
