Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer / Architect who is a true platform builder, not a task-based DevOps engineer. This role focuses on designing, building, and operating cloud and Kubernetes platforms from scratch. You will work hands-on at an architect level, owning infrastructure, automation, and platform scalability end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt

• Build and standardize Kubernetes platforms for production environments

• Architect and refactor large-scale IaC stacks, including state migrations and drift reduction

• Develop complex Ansible playbooks from scratch using Ansible Tower / AWX

• Implement GitOps workflows using Argo CD

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)

• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and repeatable infrastructure patterns

• Design platforms with scalability, reliability, observability, and security from day one

Required Skills & Experience

• 9+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform / Infrastructure Engineering

• Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform & Terragrunt

• Deep Kubernetes production experience

• Ansible Tower or AWX (Required) with complex playbooks built from scratch

• Experience running Kubernetes workloads on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Azure

• Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)

• GitOps experience using Argo CD

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions (self-hosted runners)

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault, cloud security, and RBAC

• Exposure to Temporal or Cadence workflow engines

• Strong scripting/coding skills (Python preferred)

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Bare-metal infrastructure experience

• Experience with Consul

• Strong backend or systems engineering background
