As the Software Development Manager of this Culver City-based team, you\'ll lead engineers building production systems that combine GenAI, ML, and immersive media to deliver breakthrough customer experiences. Your team owns critical capabilities spanning intelligent container creation, explainability, textual and visual enrichments, and music enhancement; Building the future of music through AI-powered visual and audio experiences.

Key job responsibilities
You\'ll operate at the intersection of technology strategy and hands-on engineering leadership.
Expect to:
? Guide architectural decisions for services handling millions of requests with strict latency/cost requirements
? Review code and design docs for AI orchestration, LLM integration, and content generation pipelines
? Partner with Applied Scientists on model evaluation, prompt engineering, and quality metrics
? Collaborate with Product and TPM on roadmap prioritization, launch sequencing, and customer impact measurement
? Represent the team in org-wide technical reviews, operational readiness assessments, and strategic planning
? Recruit, hire, and develop engineers who thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving AI/ML environments

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
