Professional Services Engineer ServiceNow - Responsible for developing, configuring, testing, and implementing ServiceNow software, which provides a cloud-based platform for automating IT management workflows. Duties include working with product owners and business analysts to understand business requirements to support ongoing business needs and make recommendations toward development of new applications or features; developing and implementing new configurations and custom applications for ServiceNow; developing system integrations and process automation within ServiceNow and other information services applications; creating and configuring business rules, script rules, UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, and ACLs per business requirements; creating and configuring notifications, UI pages, UI macros, formatters, etc. in ServiceNow; configuring and developing integration with other applications using REST API or ServiceNow integration hub; leading development team and adhering to development best practices; conducting technical analysis on the ServiceNow applications and modules; coordinating and facilitating application and platform upgrades; creating ServiceNow reports and dashboards; developing, designing, and implementing new ServiceNow modules based on business needs; using ITIL/ITSM processes and implementing ITIL processes in ServiceNow modules for Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB Management, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, and Service Portal; developing scoped applications; performing system and integration testing; authoring and maintaining technical documentation; analyzing user requirements to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows, and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the ServiceNow roadmap; working directly with stakeholders, customers, and clients to deliver projects and assess needs; analyzing and interpreting data using meta data analysis, performance optimization, task automation, and feature prioritization; using Agile for project development and delivery; creating flows using Flow Designer; continuously reviewing new ServiceNow modules and other commercially available software to ensure the ServiceNow platform and tools remain current; creating and documenting development, unit test cases, and build plans; providing updates to software as required based on feedback from users; working across functional areas to drive continuous improvement of business processes and operations, security, and quality assurance; communicating effectively with team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and disciplines; maintaining compliance with ServiceNow modules licensing; working in challenging and ambiguous environments, including vague or shifting business requirements, fast-changing priorities, and incomplete documentation, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment; and providing top-tier customer service.
