The Planet Group is seeking an Oracle Cloud Payroll Workstream Lead for a 1+ year project in Canada. Must currently live and work in Canada to qualify. Project is paid in Canadian dollars and is NOT a US based project. The project starts in March but they want to hire now to give time for onboarding
Work location is mostly remote - some limited onsite time may be required for critical milestones or key client workshops (travel reimbursed)
Would like to see candidates who live in Ontario, Quebec, or Nova Scotia - Canada
Start: 3/1/2026 - 6/4/2027
Rate: $110/hr CAD (this is not a US project and the rate is in Canadian dollars)
Oracle Cloud Payroll with other HCM Cloud modules such as Absence, Benefits, or Time and Labor
Experience: 8+ Years
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Accounting, Human Resources, Computer Technology)
Job Description & Summary
- Minimum of eight years hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, complemented by working knowledge of Absence Management, Benefits, and/or Time and Labor.
- Three to five end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations, including payroll reconciliation and parallel run phases, with at least one implementation integrated with Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, or SCM.
- Proven experience designing, building, and supporting integrations to and from Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll with third-party systems.
- Demonstrated ability to design and establish a chart of accounts structure in partnership with Finance and Payroll stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge and execution of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll configuration and data conversion/migration, including elements and eligibility, Fast Formula, payroll flows, costing, Retropay, proration, and balance initialization.
- Experience with Canadian payroll requirements and Oracle payroll configuration for unionized Canadian organizations is highly desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
