What You Will Do
  • Provide integration support for external or internal development and installation activities affecting Ground Terminal Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
  • Provide assistance in understanding Site Integration Specifications and Site Processes
  • Support and execute Site Integration Specification project milestones
  • Generate, submit, and track Maintenance Activities (MAs) for all ground terminal O&M needs
  • Coordinate and plan ground terminal activities with other site organizations as required
  • Generate and brief ground terminal chart packages to organizational freeze boards, as required
  • Coordinate and facilitate integrated product team (IPT) briefings
  • Maintain team master schedule to include Site Integration Specification milestones for O&M projects
  • Monitor and review open items (discrepancy reports) through closure
  • Review and monitor external MAs for potential impacts to the O&M team
  • Perform risk assessment and impact analysis of internal and external O&M activities
  • Facilitate group review and consolidate comments for updates to Site Operating Instructions
  • Maintain O&M team work instructions for integration activities
  • Maintain Customer-directed metrics for the O&M team
  • Update/maintain O&M Integration web pages using JIRA/Confluence tools
  • Maintain O&M Team configuration management (CM) records using Site tools
  • Perform annual O&M Baseline Audit activities based on Site requirements

What You Will Learn
  • Specific customer O&M mission objectives and requirements supporting national assets

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in operations or maintenance of ground segment hardware/software systems
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and maintaining operational systems
  • Experience with integration of updated hardware/software into existing systems
  • Technical knowledge/expertise in aerospace ground segment environments
  • 3+ years experience at Site or Site-related developments
  • Experience with MS Excel and other Office software tools
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence
  • Experience with Athena
  • Experience with technical writing and briefings
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple tasks under stressful conditions

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
