Description

Tyler Technologies is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our Portfolio and Program Management Team. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the execution of cross-functional IT initiatives that support financial systems, enterprise applications, and business process modernization. This role is responsible for end-to-end project execution-planning, coordination, risk management, and delivery-working closely Finance, Accounting, IT, Security, Audit, and additional business partners, as well as external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects, including SaaS implementations, system integrations, and business process modernization
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, status meetings, and decision forums
  • Coordinate governance, audit, and compliance documentation.
  • Track actions, decisions, and risks for transparency.
  • Support change management via communication, training, and user readiness.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience managing projects across the full delivery lifecycle
  • Experience with ERP platforms, SaaS applications, and system integrations
  • Familiarity with audit- or control-driven environments
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
  • Effective team player with strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Project management certification preferred
