Sr Product Manager - Retail Media Network

Description
This client is seeking a high level Product Manager to help scale and evolve our Retail Media Network by defining product strategy, driving platform modernization, and delivering solutions that improve advertising experiences across in-store, offsite, and emerging onsite channels.
This role will lead product initiatives focused on retail media technology, advertising capabilities, campaign enablement, audience activation, and platform optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong Product Management experience with expertise in Retail Media, AdTech, or Digital Advertising ecosystems.
This is not an Ad Operations, Media Buying, Campaign Management, or Project Management role.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the Retail Media product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue goals.
Lead product strategy for retail media capabilities across in-store, offsite, and future onsite advertising channels.
Define and prioritize product enhancements that improve advertiser, marketer, and internal user experiences.
Partner with engineering, business stakeholders, media teams, analytics teams, and external technology providers to deliver scalable solutions.
Identify opportunities to simplify and modernize fragmented retail media workflows and technology ecosystems.
Develop product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
Drive integration initiatives across retail media technologies, advertising platforms, and partner ecosystems.
Evaluate new capabilities, channels, and technologies that support long-term Retail Media Network growth.
Analyze performance data and customer feedback to drive product decisions and optimization efforts.
Present product strategies, roadmap recommendations, and business cases to leadership teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a strong Product Manager first and a Retail Media expert second. They understand how advertising ecosystems operate and can translate business opportunities into scalable product solutions.
Success in this role requires:
Strong product management discipline.
Retail Media or Digital Advertising domain expertise.
Ability to work effectively with highly technical teams.
Experience solving platform fragmentation and workflow inefficiencies.
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
A strategic mindset balanced with hands-on product execution.
Candidate Consideration Guidance
Candidates with direct Retail Media experience are highly preferred. However, strong Product Managers with recent Digital Advertising or AdTech backgrounds may also be considered if they demonstrate expertise in audience targeting, ad serving, programmatic ecosystems, platform integrations, and advertising product strategy.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
