.NET Engineer (JOB ID 1961)

OneSparQ is looking for a .NET Engineer to manage production support, feature adds and bug fixes for an enterprise .NET/C# custom application. The role is fully remote preferred living in the greater Dallas or Phoenix Area.

Responsibilities:

• Architecting and delivering microservices on ASP.NET Core (.NET 8+) using Domain‑Driven Design, Clean Architecture patterns, and contract‑first service definitions
• Structuring solutions with clear separation of concerns across Presentation, Application, Domain, and Infrastructure layers, guided by SOLID principles and dependency injection
• Creating Blazor WebAssembly applications and building shared component libraries to support consistent UI development
• Designing and integrating GraphQL endpoints with HotChocolate/StrawberryShake, including robust authorization, filtering, sorting, and efficient data projection
• Leveraging Entity Framework Core with PostgreSQL for data access, handling migrations, optimizing queries, and implementing CQRS‑style read/write segregation
• Incorporating platform‑wide cross‑cutting capabilities such as authentication (Auth0/OAuth 2.0/OIDC), feature flagging (Flagsmith), localization, audit trails, caching, and OpenTelemetry‑based observability
• Developing comprehensive automated tests using xUnit and Moq, aiming for strong coverage on new features and complete coverage for critical business rules
• Troubleshooting distributed systems through structured logs, distributed tracing, and telemetry insights
• Contributing to engineering quality through code reviews, documentation upkeep, and participation in architectural discussions

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands on C#/.NET developer experience with hands on experience working with Legacy Applications and modernizing to new applications
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Blazor WebAssembly and GraphQL APIs
• Following Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design principles

Additional Skills:

• Implementation of new automation and deployment initiatives
• Previous experience working with AWS, Docker and OpenTelemetry
• Work experience in HRIS, Insurance, Fintech or other relevant fields
