Required Education and Experience:
Education: Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Physics.
Experience: 5+ years in engineering (preferably with experience in manufacturing test and measurement automation).
Required Qualifications
Software Skills: C#, .NET, Visual Studio, LabVIEW, TestStand.
Instrumentation: Experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators.
Communication Busses: UART/Serial, GPIB, USB, Ethernet/TCP.
Preferred Skills
C++ and embedded software development.
SQL database scripting.
Experience with PLCs.
Azure DevOps / TFS.
The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for medical devices. This is a hands-on role requiring collaboration with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment robustness and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design, fabricate, and deploy Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and tools for medical device production.
Determine ATE architecture (hardware/software).
Program software and PLCs using C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, etc.
Manage schedules and project plans.
Work with R&D to define requirements and with manufacturing to assess production needs.
Perform code reviews, unit tests, and system validation.
