Job Description:

Overall 13+ years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Data Platform roles
At least 5 - 6 years in enterprise-level architecture and cloud modernization leadership
At least 7 - 8 years in hands-on data development (ETL/ELT, SQL, modelling, pipeline design)
Architected modern cloud-based data platforms on AWS
Hands-on experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lake Formation, EMR)
Hands-on architecture experience with:

Amazon S3 Data lake storage design and lifecycle strategy
AWS Glue Enterprise ETL/ELT orchestration
Amazon Redshift Data warehouse architecture and performance optimization
Amazon Athena Serverless analytics design
AWS Lake Formation Governance and fine-grained access management
Amazon EMR Distributed data processing frameworks

Proven experience in cloud migration and multi-database environments.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
Designed and implemented enterprise-scale, multi-zone data architectures (raw, curated, trusted layers)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have: Experience with BI tools (Quick Sight Reporting, Tableau, Looker) and self-service analytics.

Certifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (preferred)
AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty (highly desirable)
Any other cloud/data certifications (e.g., Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform/Azure knowledge a plus)
