Introduction

We are looking for a skilled Storage Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and operational support for a Dell ECS environment. This role will involve focusing on ECS environment health and stabilization, including cluster and node reviews, capacity assessments, hardware and networking reviews, alert and log analysis, performance troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, risk identification, and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform Dell ECS cluster and node health reviews.
• Conduct ECS capacity assessments and identify capacity or growth risks.
• Review ECS hardware, networking, and infrastructure configurations.
• Analyze ECS alerts, logs, and monitoring information.
• Perform ECS performance reviews and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot ECS issues and perform root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Identify operational, performance, capacity, hardware, and networking risks.
• Provide recommendations based on ECS operational best practices.
• Participate in ECS expansion and capacity planning discussions.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for the ECS environment.
• Participate in side-by-side technical working and troubleshooting sessions.
• Collaborate with storage, infrastructure, and networking teams.
• Provide technical knowledge transfer through observation and hands-on participation.
• Assist with documentation, operational procedures, and environment stabilization activities.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Dell ECS.
• Experience with ECS cluster and node administration.
• Experience with ECS health checks and environment assessments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with storage capacity planning and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of hardware and storage networking.
• Experience with ECS alerts, logs, and monitoring.
• Experience supporting enterprise ECS environments.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
