Associate Product Security Test Engineer

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Product Security Test Engineer to support the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) cyber test capability and join their team in Seattle, WA.

In addition to specific program responsibilities, the successful candidate will be joining the growing BT&E Product Security Engineering Capability. They will be joining a team of advanced Product Security Engineers from across the Boeing Enterprise, collaboratively developing best practices, techniques and tools, while fostering a community that enhances our ability to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and development of cyber test events for avionics systems
  • Leverage software and/or systems engineering experience to build new testing tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing objectives and requirements
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements and risk mitigation

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (ship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 1+ years of experience with Vulnerability assessment and/or Penetration test
  • 1+ years of experience with avionics systems and aerospace systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 2+ years of experience within the aerospace or avionics industry
  • 2+ years of work related experience in CyberSecurity
  • Experience in defense aerospace mission systems
  • Experience in developing and executing test plans, procedures, and reports
  • Experience executing test events against avionics, embedded and/or mission systems
  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies
