Duration: 06 Months with Possible extension
Job Description
The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data management systems that support business intelligence, analytics, and enterprise reporting. This role focuses on building reliable, high-performance data solutions, ensuring data quality, and integrating modern data technologies to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data management systems.
- Build and optimize data models using Snowflake, dbt (Data Build Tool), and DataStage.
- Develop high-performance data solutions, predictive models, and analytics applications.
- Integrate data from relational and non-relational databases, ensuring data quality, reliability, and governance.
- Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and IT teams to deliver business intelligence solutions.
- Support disaster recovery, data reliability, and continuous improvements to enterprise data platforms.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with dbt, DataStage, and Business Intelligence/Data Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Hadoop, etc.).
- Experience with backend programming using Java/J2EE or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
