Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Onsite)

Main Sail seeks a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support nuclear manufacturing operations at our client's facility. This role will lead strategic sourcing initiatives that align procurement strategy with program, cost, and compliance objectives. The position requires deep knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, supplier risk management, and cost optimization within highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for materials and services compliant with FAR requirements and BWXT policies.
- Request quotes, conduct price analysis, negotiations and supporting 100% on time delivery at the planned costs.
- Track requisition processing, purchase order placement, supplier acknowledgement, invoicing, and supplier payments.
Required Skills:
- 7+ Years in government contracting or procurement.
- Active DOE L or Q clearance required. Equivalent active DoD clearance accepted.
- Bachelor s degree required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems.
