We are seeking an experienced
Senior Python/FastAPI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy high-volume, distributed applications within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in backend engineering, event-based architectures, API development, and relational database design.
You will contribute to story refinement, lead development of new features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities- Contribute to story refinement and the definition of technical requirements.
- Perform spikes/proof of concepts to mitigate risk or evaluate new ideas.
- Develop code and unit tests to deliver user stories aligned with acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
- Utilize multiple architectural components (data, application, business) in design and development.
- Assist the team in resolving complex technical challenges.
- Design, develop, and modify architectural components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while maintaining overall architecture integrity.
- Build and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
Mandatory Skills- Extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying multi-tiered, distributed, high-volume transactional applications.
- Deep expertise in Python and FastAPI (or similar frameworks).
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database concepts.
- Strong understanding of Git version control.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of the Agile methodology and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and working with SQL objects.
- Experience with component-based web application frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and SOLID design principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with cross-functional technical teams.
