Role Summary - (To be filled by Practice /DO) Rate. - Visa Location | We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate CTMS project management activities for Clinical Services (CS)-led workstreams, covering both existing initiatives and future project activities.
The role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining integrated project plans, aligning cross-functional dependencies, managing critical-path activities, proactively identifying risks and issues, and ensuring timely execution across multiple stakeholders. Primary (Must have skills)* | • 8+ years of experience in Senior Project Manager with CTMS and Clinical Portfolio Support. • Senior Project Management experience, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical development, or life sciences environments. • Strong experience with MS Project and/or Smartsheet for project planning and tracking. • Proven ability to identify, manage, and align critical-path activities and cross-functional dependencies. • Strong risk and issue management capabilities with a proactive approach to mitigation and escalation. • Demonstrated ability to drive action items and dependencies through to completion. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Experience managing multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously. • Strong project planning, scheduling, reporting, and governance capabilities. • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. • PMP certification preferred, or demonstrated equivalent project management expertise. • Knowledge of clinical operations processes and GxP/regulatory environments is preferred. |

What You'll Do/ Job Description of Role | Lead project management activities for CS-led CTMS workstreams and initiatives, including planning, execution, tracking, and closure. Develop and maintain detailed project plans using MS Project and/or Smartsheet, ensuring milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and critical-path activities are clearly defined. Coordinate with Clinical Services, Clinical Operations, IT, Data, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery. Identify and actively manage critical-path activities, interdependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions. Proactively flag potential schedule or delivery risks and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution plans. Track project progress against approved timelines, milestones, scope, and deliverables. Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide clear, concise status reporting to project and leadership stakeholders. Maintain RAID logs, action trackers, milestone plans, and other project governance artifacts. Follow through on open actions and dependencies to ensure timely closure and prevent project delays. Support project prioritization, resource planning, and coordination across existing and future CTMS initiatives. Partner with stakeholders to identify schedule conflicts, dependency gaps, and resource constraints and drive resolution. Ensure effective communication and transparency across all project stakeholders. Support project governance, escalation management, and leadership reporting as required. Contribute to continuous improvement of CTMS project management processes, tools, and templates. |

Proactively identify risks and dependencies before they impact project timelines. Minimize schedule slippage through effective planning, follow-up, and escalation. Ensure 100% visibility of key actions, risks, issues, and dependencies across assigned workstreams. Drive timely closure of project actions and stakeholder commitments. Provide reliable and timely project status reporting to leadership. Improve coordination and transparency across CS, CTMS, IT, and other cross-functional teams. Successfully support delivery of both existing and future CTMS initiatives within agreed scope, timelines, and governance expectations. Establish a consistent and scalable project management approach across CTMS workstreams. |
Secondary Skills (Good to have) | Experience in Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) or clinical operations. Understanding of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical clinical development processes. Familiarity with GxP-regulated environments and applicable compliance expectations. Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or similar project collaboration tools. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills for leadership reporting and project analysis. Experience working in large, matrixed, global organizations. Change management and stakeholder engagement experience. Experience managing vendor or third-party dependencies is a plus. |
