Description: OverviewWe are looking for an experienced
Network Engineer to design, support, and maintain large-scale enterprise networks. This role is hands-on and requires strong expertise in Cisco technologies, network security, load balancing, and troubleshooting critical network issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and support secure and scalable enterprise networks using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches
- Configure and maintain routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and EVPN
- Deploy and manage F5 load balancers, including traffic routing and performance optimization
- Act as an escalation point for complex network issues, including L2/L3 connectivity, VPNs, and hardware failures
- Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, IPSec, 802.1x, and TACACS+
- Support multicast networking (PIM, MSDP, Anycast-RP) for real-time data delivery in manufacturing environments
- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and expansions with minimal downtime
- Work closely with internal teams, service providers, and vendors to resolve issues and manage RMAs
- Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and incident reports
- Mentor junior engineers and support team knowledge sharing and best practices
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise-level networks
- Strong experience with Cisco networking equipment (Catalyst, Nexus), firewalls, and load balancers
- In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and network troubleshooting
- Experience with multicast technologies in a manufacturing or high-availability environment
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostics tools
- Strong documentation skills, including incident reports and network strategy documents
- CCNP Enterprise or CCIE certification (current or expired within the last 3 years)
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week and live within a 1-hour commute of the office location
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in large manufacturing environments operating 24/7
- Knowledge of high-availability network designs
- Experience with server networking (LACP, VPC, NIC teaming)
- Hands-on experience with F5 load balancers and iRules
- Knowledge of packet capture analysis and SSL certificates
- Certifications in F5 or Palo Alto Firewalls
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic scripting or automation (Python, Ansible)
- Bilingual Korean and English skills preferred
