Seeking a Sr Data Scientist to lead high-priority projects that will have a positive impact on the organization.
Duties:
-Apply advanced analytics techniques, predictive modeling & data mining to solve complex business problems.
-Developing custom data models & algorithms, performing in-depth analysis on large datasets & translating complex findings for a wide range of stakeholders.
-Requires strong project management skills and the ability to mentor other data scientists.
-Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and have a deep understanding of the entire data science project lifecycle.
Must have:
-Exp. as a project leader or in a similar leadership role.
-Proven experience building datasets.
-Experience presenting to A-C level executives.
-Cogito experience is required.
-AWS Certification is a must.
Minimum qualifications/experience:
-At least 7yrs. of exp. in data science.
-Professional exp. in a hospital setting, medical informatics, or healthcare information technology is a plus.
Skills:
-Proficiency in a variety of machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, decision tree learning).
-Advanced understanding of statistical techniques (e.g., regression, statistical tests).
-Advanced knowledge of the data science project lifecycle.
-Proficiency in programming and statistical analysis tools.
-Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
-Advanced understanding of SQL database management tools.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Professional exp. in a hospital setting, medical informatics, or healthcare information technology is a plus.
Education:
-Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (science, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or statistics).
-A master s degree in data science is preferred.
