Overview

Senior Product Owner to drive the delivery of AI governance, technology risk, and control implementation initiatives across enterprise AI platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on transforming risk and control requirements into practical, testable engineering solutions rather than project status reporting or policy ownership.

Key Responsibilities

AI Governance & Risk Controls

• Translate Technology Risk Management (TRM) requirements into implementable technical controls.
• Design and implement AI governance controls across:
• AI platforms and safeguards
• ServiceNow AI Control Tower workflows
• AI inventory and registration processes
• Approval and exception management
• Automated compliance checks
• Telemetry, monitoring, and KRIs
• Audit evidence collection

Product Ownership & Delivery

• Own and maintain integrated delivery plans with milestones, dependencies, risks, and accountability.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs aligned with business and regulatory objectives.
• Lead multiple Product Owners and Agile teams toward shared strategic goals.
• Remove delivery blockers and drive execution across cross-functional teams.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with AI Engineering, Technology Risk, FinOps, Compliance, and senior leadership.
• Influence teams in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
• Communicate product vision, strategy, priorities, and progress to stakeholders.

Control Testing & Audit Readiness

• Validate control effectiveness against defined objectives.
• Identify gaps, risks, and trade-offs.
• Ensure auditable evidence and ownership structures are maintained.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory compliance efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Product Manager.
• Proven delivery leadership for complex software or AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of:
• AI Governance
• Technology Risk Management (TRM)
• Controls Engineering
• Audit & Compliance
• Workflow Automation
• Observability & Telemetry
• Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience translating ambiguous risk requirements into engineering deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and programs simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
