Summary

Title: Greenplum DBA  
Location: 100% Remote   USA  
Type: 6-month contract

Greenplum administration experience, including performance tuning and optimization of complex SQL queries for large data sets.

Hands-on experience with Greenplum tools, including: MADlib, PXF, GPCC, gpfdist, gpload, gpbackup, gprestore, gpdr backup, and gpdr restore.

Strong SQL development skills and experience with data warehousing environments.

Proficiency in Bash scripting, Python, and working in UNIX/Linux (RHEL) environments.

Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Familiarity with ETL tools such as IBM DataStage or similar.

Automation-minded with a focus on streamlining database operations.

Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure).

Exposure to containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Databricks and Spark-based data processing.
