Cloud Data Engineer

Blu Omega is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to design and build scalable, secure data platforms across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environments.

You ll work with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop robust data pipelines, optimize cloud architectures, and support enterprise analytics initiatives.

Location: Remote- core EST hours

What You ll Do:

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python & SQL

• Develop cloud-native solutions in Azure (ADF, Databricks, Blob, PostgreSQL) and Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GCS, Dataflow, Composer)

• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)

• Containerize workloads with Docker

• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance

What We re Looking For:

• 3 5 years of data engineering experience

• Strong Azure experience + hands-on Google Cloud Platform

• Proven experience with Terraform

• Expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL Server)

• Experience with data lakes/warehouses and cloud orchestration tools

Healthcare experience (HIPAA) is a plus.
